It’s pretty simple, really. Prism Edge is the edge appliance version of Prism Core. How do they differ? We can count the ways on zero fingers. That’s right, Edge is no truncated, detuned, hamstrung version of Core. It simply makes apps possible even in low bandwidth environments. So, instead of running on a server, it’s running on an appliance. As in, a (typically) Linux appliance. Insert your own “smart fridge” joke here.
